about Katherine
Katherine oversees the children’s ministry, safeguarding, church events and volunteers. She and her husband, Chris, live in Richmond, VA where they are currently foster parents to two sweet girls. Chris is working as a product owner for a bank. As a family they love hikes with their dog, board games, home renovation and exploring Richmond City with friends.
Katherine graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Psychology (B.S.). Living in Blacksburg post graduation, she worked as a Mental Health Case Manager for children. After moving to Richmond she continued working in Case Management with foster children. In 2016, she transitioned fields and began working for a bank in their mortgage department. In 2020 she left banking to work for Church of the Incarnation.
