Our desire at Incarnation is to live as the body of Christ in worship, discipleship, and mission. Knowing that this does not happen by accident, we gather together every Sunday to worship in word and sacrament. It is in worship that our hearts are transformed so that we long for the presence and life of God, and we trust that we are in the presence of God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—when we gather together.
But our worship on Sunday is not just for Sunday’s sake! It spills over into our weekly and daily practices, and it is our desire for the entire body of Christ to grow in discipleship through regular habits that flow from our corporate worship. The men and women meet weekly for Bible studies, small groups gather in homes in various parts of the city, and the entire church gathers for specific classes and potluck dinners on a regular basis. These habits are ways for us to grow in the knowledge and love of God and love for our neighbor.
